We are excited to see the release of the Champions of Change Coalition UNSTOPPABLE: Progress Towards Gender Equality and Pay Equality in Sport report. A decade ago, the Champions of Change group was formed with a bold vision to transform Australian sport into an environment where women and men are equally engaged, recognised, valued, and empowered to lead. Tennis Australia’s CEO Craig Tiley, has been at the forefront of the movement, proudly championing gender equality and inclusion in sport. Thanks to a collective effort across the entire sports sector, we have made more progress in advancing women in sport in the past 10 years than in the previous century. We have seen transformative progress in: - Senior leadership: More women are stepping into leadership roles across the sports sector - Attraction and retention: Building pathways for a gender-equal talent pipeline - Pay equity & investment: Closing gender pay gaps through targeted investment - Inclusive culture: Fostering safe, respectful, and inclusive sporting environments At TennisAustralia we are proud to have contributed to this comprehensive report, reflecting our individual and collective efforts toward achieving gender equality within the sports sector, within a generation. But the journey is far from over. We are committed to continuing this important work and driving lasting change in Australian sport. This week we launched Reshape the Game, a new articulation of the year-round programs in tennis and the impact they can have on brands. Australian tennis is booming as backed by the numbers; 🎾 #1 most requested sports in schools 🎾 1m+ hours booked on play.tennis.com.au this year 🎾 #1 female junior player in the world 🎾 Most men in the top 100 of any nation But it’s as much about the stories as the numbers. Whatever your brand stands for….inclusivity, community, social connection, high performance, you tell us….. there’s a way to tell that story through tennis. And we’d love to help.
