Terrain Capital's Globalscope partner Aventis recently presented its May 2024 SaaS Index update. Valuations have reverted to mean following the 'SaaS bubble'. While Enterprise Value to Revenue multiples around the world are converging, the average multiple of 2.7 in Australia and New Zealand fall below world average. Software M&A activity report by Terrain Capital's Globalscope partner Silverpeak reveals that Thales, a global leader in aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity, continues to expand its cybersecurity activity. Recently, Thales acquired Imperva for a whopping US$3.6 billion. This acquisition is a significant move for Thales as it strengthens its position in the global cybersecurity market. Interestingly, Thales has been active in the Australian market as well. In 2020, the company acquired Tesserent, a cybersecurity firm that was listed by Terrain Capital in 2016.
