At the Australian Childhood Trauma Group (ACTG), we understand the importance of guiding children in safe social media use. With the recent spotlight on children's social media engagement, including the introduction of under-16 age restrictions, it's crucial to reassess the impact of these platforms on young people. While some may feel it's too late to address the issue, we firmly believe that education plays a key role in fostering a safer online environment for children. To support parents and carers in navigating this digital landscape, we have developed a Skill Bite Video aimed at providing valuable insights and guidance. We encourage you to share this resource within your networks to help spread awareness and empower those responsible for guiding children through their social media journey. Together, through education and awareness, we can create a safer online space for our children. Join us in promoting safe social media practices and prioritising the well-being of our youth. Please note that the video can be played in 10 languages: English, Mandarin Chinese, Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic, Greek, Italian, Filipino & Spanish. To access these languages, copy this link: https://lnkd.in/gckqHy8U, and then click the 'language button' at the bottom right of the screen that will default to EN and select your language.

🗣️ Every action we take and every emotion we display is a voice in itself. At ACTG, we recognise that all behaviour is a form of communication. 🤔 But what is this behaviour telling us? Behaviour has an underlying story, from the subtle cues to the most overt expressions. It's about listening, looking, understanding, and responding with empathy and expertise. ✨ We're here to decode and support behaviour, choosing curiosity over judgment to understand why the behaviour presents itself. At ACTG, we don't just hear what's being communicated; we see it, respect it, and address it. #ACTG #Behaviour #Communication #HealingHopeChange
