The Summit will include: - Focus on Advanced Practice in Allied Health: The Summit will be dedicated to one central theme, delivering a concentrated exploration of advanced practice, skill development, and leadership, designed for a multidisciplinary audience. - 24-Hour Staggered Sessions: Sessions will run across a 24-hour period to ensure accessibility for a global audience, accommodating different time zones. - Multiple Key Note Presentations: Scheduled to allow attendees from every time zone the realistic opportunity to attend at least two key note presentations. - Content across a maximum of 10 streams, with practice areas identified across streams: Enabling attendees the flexibility they need, to identify and focus on the content and sessions they are most interested in. - Connection and Interactivity: The Summit will feature live sessions, interactive panel discussions, and virtual networking opportunities to facilitate connection and collaboration. What makes a good health professional? 🤔 And how can we spot it in potential new team members? Getting recruitment wrong can be a draining and costly experience – for both organisations and the individuals involved. But one of the challenges is that so many roles in healthcare are highly multidimensional… For example, it’s quite normal – for a health worker to succeed in their role – for them to need skills in: 👉 Empathy, problem solving, adaptability, collaboration, initiative, conflict resolution, decision making, reflective practice, oral communication, written communication, continuing improvement, and (of course) clinical expertise. And that's just to name a few! So how can we screen for such a wide breadth of traits and capabilities, like these and more, in the space of a recruitment process? Somehow we need to distil what we’re looking for into a manageable format. In this post, a worked example that starts broad, then narrows down to a handful of targeted, tailored questions to help find the right people for the right roles. #alliedhealth
