Reflecting on our recent partnership with Malmö-based studio Lab La Bla at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, we were inspired by their innovative use of materials like mining dust and ground cork to create unique furniture and finishes. It was a proud moment for us to see their space beautifully adorned with Bolon flooring, reinforcing our commitment to collaborating with brands that share our vision for a more sustainable future. We’re optimistic about a future where creativity aligns with responsible design practices. Today, we’re thrilled to celebrate Michelle Brits, who has passionately and successfully managed Bolon sales in Hong Kong for a decade. Reflecting on her ten-year journey, she shares, “When I joined Bolon, I was interested by the idea of merging design with sustainability. I see Bolon as more than just a flooring brand; it's a design brand that challenges the status quo. In the next decade, I envision Bolon leading the way in sustainable design, inspiring architects to consider both the social and environmental impacts of their choices, alongside aesthetics.” As we celebrate her decade of dedication, we honor Michelle’s individual journey and the shared vision that will continue to propel Bolon into a future where design and sustainability coexist.
