  • Have You Ever Felt Left Behind? Have you ever struggled to do something that seemed so easy for everyone else? Frustrating, right? Maybe even discouraging. Now, imagine how overwhelming it must feel for older Australians trying to stay connected with loved ones—only to struggle with the very tools that make it possible. 📱 For many, the simple act of sending an email or making a video call feels impossible. But YOU can change that. The Be Connected Digital Mentor Training Program is a FREE opportunity for volunteers—youth or adult—to share their knowledge and empower older Australians with the digital skills they need to stay connected, independent, and safe online. You don’t need to be a tech expert—just patient, supportive, and intentional. On March 2, we’re opening our doors at The Array's Learning Dojo, to host one of these free training sessions. 📍 When: March 02, 2025 | Sunday 📍 Where: The Array, The Vic Mall, Dawin City, NT Take this opportunity to be a guiding light for someone else. And who knows? You might just learn something invaluable from the wisdom and experiences of our seniors. • What we love most about hosting events at The Array—like last Thursday’s TGI Masterclass featuring Morgan Jaffit—is the chance for our Members to connect one-on-one with our guests. Before the evening workshop even began, Morgan Jaffit spent the day meeting with each of our members, talking through their ideas and projects, and offering invaluable support, industry networks, and years of experience. This level of access to seasoned professionals can make all the difference for startups looking to refine their vision and gain insider insights into what it takes to succeed in the interactive entertainment space. At The Array, we’re committed to being a space that fosters these relationships—connecting our growing community in the NT with mentors and resources that propel them forward. Now, we know we keep telling you to drop by and become a member—this is exactly why! Not only will you have a dedicated workspace, you’ll also join a vibrant network of fellow entrepreneurs, creators, and expert mentors who are eager to share their knowledge one-on-one. If you’re ready to take your startup or creative project to the next level, get in touch and learn more about our membership options. Your next big breakthrough could start right here at The Array! • Last week flew by in a whirlwind of exciting events, but we couldn’t miss sharing highlights from roundtable we hosted at The Array [ ] with IGEA CEO Ron Curry last week! The energy in the room was incredible—everyone agreed that right now is the best time to be making games in the Territory!!! We discussed about funding opportunities and support available to local developers, with big thanks to Jennie Hughes (Screen Territory) and Martin Redhead, Fiona Hicks and Isabella Mellios from the Innovation team for outlining pathways that can spark new projects right here at home. We also heard from our interstate guest Morgan Jaffit, who highlighted our world-class talent per capita and the power of our unique Territory stories that captivate audiences further south (and beyond!). The conversation was overflowing with optimism and opportunity, reaffirming just how vital collaboration is between The Array, IGEA, Screen Territory, and local innovators to keep the Territory’s interactive entertainment scene growing strong. If you missed the roundtable, stay tuned to our pages for announcements about future events (or better, become an Array Member now!) We’re excited to keep this momentum going and support our vibrant community of creators. The future is bright for gaming in the NT—and we’re just getting started!
