This should be a really interesting session on how to approach communications following an adverse weather event....
Join the WCA and a panel of experts at our December Webinar on Tuesday 10th December, 12.30 ACST, to discuss how a wine business or region can communicate to trade and consumers about an adverse weather event e.g. the recent frost events, fire (smoke) and hail. We will hear from a cross section of industry, public relations and industry bodies, with the aim of not focusing on the negatives but the opportunities to learn how to deal with this circumstance should it unfortunately ever arise again. We will also look at current and future sustainability reporting requirements, and how/when it will impact small and medium sized businesses. This will be a panel discussion with the opportunity to ask questions. The panel will consist of: - Kerry Parkin, Founder and CEO of Sway, a global corporate communications business located in London. (Kerry used to be based in Australia and was the Global Corporate Communications Manager of Pernod Ricard Winemakers) - Nicki Robins, Viticultural Development Manager, Barossa Australia - Ali Lockwood, CEO and Co-Founder, How Sustainability What: Webinar: Communications Strategy for Adverse Weather Events When: 12.30 ACST - Tuesday 10th December Where: Zoom Cost: as always, our webinars are FREE to WCA Members and cost $50 (+ GST) for Non-Members.
