TGA stakeholder survey report 2024 Published The annual stakeholder survey by the TGA gathers actionable data to enhance stakeholder engagement and report on key performance indicators. The 2024 survey revealed that 64% of Australians are aware of the TGA, a decrease from 2021–2023 but higher than pre-2020 levels. Trust in the TGA remains strong, with 81% of stakeholders viewing it as ethical and balanced in ensuring access to therapeutic goods and safety (63% agreement). Positive communication experiences were reported by 66% of stakeholders, though response times to inquiries were acknowledged as still requiring improvement, with 75% inquiries addressed within 5 days and 13% taking 10+ days. Stakeholders generally believe that prescription medicines (72%) and medical devices (71%) are appropriately regulated and that the TGA effectively addresses non-compliance (71%).
