Happy New Years team, I'm Niall, the founder of The Estimating Collective. My New Year’s resolution is to make us the number one estimating solution for all electricians - one of the many steps to make this happen is to be more active on this platform to show you who we are and what we do! So firstly, a little bit about me - With 7 years at the helm of my own Electrical contracting company in NZ, I then made the move across the ditch and took the position as General Manager for an Industrial Electrical firm on the Gold Coast, which opened my eyes to Automation, PLC’s and never having a drawing to follow! From there, I relocated to Melbourne as Senior Electrical Estimator, this was a great experience and gave me the opportunity to really fine-tune my expertise in the art of estimation. All of these experiences made me realise the need for a reliable and trustworthy electrical estimating service, which is when The Estimating Collective was born.
