Amongst the many highlights this week at The Liminal Space: Leadership Training and Development, we marked the end of a remarkable chapter with our partners at Hammond Park Secondary College. With pride and a touch of sadness, we concluded our 14-month journey with this incredible team during the eighth and final workshop of their bespoke version of our Agile Leadership Program. The workshop culminated in the sharing of deeply personal leadership stories -moments of triumph, challenge and growth - that moved us all to tears. These authentic reflections sparked profound lessons, shaping participant leadership styles in powerful and lasting ways. At the heart of this workshop was the intersection of these stories with program insights and micro-strategies, designed to "shift the rudder of their leader ships". Witnessing these transformations has been a testament to the impact of our work together. We are immensely proud of what this group has achieved and will carry their stories with us as inspiration. To Joanne Willesee, Hayatti Miller and the Hammond Park team: we wish you every success as you continue your unique leadership journeys. Go well! #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #Education #EducationalLeadership #Teamwork

We Grow Leaders
About us
At The Liminal Space, we grow leaders through awesome leadership programs designed to target the liminal or in-between moments where uncertainty, ambiguity, and transformation intersect. People find themselves in liminal spaces when they consider applying for their first leadership role, ponder further promotion, undertake 360-degree feedback coupled with executive coaching or professional learning to enhance effectiveness or seek to enhance the leadership capacity of their staff. Regardless of your situation, we will create a research-based, interactive leadership program to guide you through your unique liminal space and assist you to unlock your leadership potential. Think of us as sherpas that lead you through the mountain pass, or the GPS that guides you through the maze - we're here to help you emerge a stronger, more confident, more effective leader! People describe our work as evidence-based, provocative, and even life-changing. They say we’re passionate, rigorous, engaging, and good fun. We’d say we’re keen to help people get better at what they do, assisting them and others to flourish through the discovery of meaning, purpose, and optimism!

We love it when a plan comes together! Last week, The Liminal Space: Leadership Training and Development were privileged to work with and learn from diverse groups of remarkable leaders. Over 60 leaders from the Department of Education, Western Australia Statewide Services Directorate wrapped up a transformative workshop focused on self-care and wellbeing, emphasising the importance of putting their own oxygen masks on first before caring for others. We were also privileged to witness the final workshops associated with our bespoke Agile Leadership Programs with the exceptional teams from SEDA College WA Western Australia and St Mark's Anglican Community School. These year-long, research-based programs were a testament to the power of interactive, growth-focused leadership development supported by Rocky Collins, Steven Davies and Roseanne Madden. Standout moments? The courage and authenticity on display as participants shared their personal and professional “big rocks,” reflecting on the intersection of their challenges, insights and growth. These moments of leadership vulnerability were deeply inspiring, demonstrating how their learnings have shaped not just their leadership, but who they are as people. Across eight dynamic workshops, we explored agile leadership theory, fostering mindsets of adaptability, resilience and growth. The result? Leaders equipped to face the complexities of today and tomorrow with confidence and heart. Keen to develop a powerful leadership program for your team in 2025? Let’s start the conversation today! #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #Education #EducationalLeadership #Teamwork

At The Liminal Space: Leadership Training and Development, we embrace goodbyes because they represent the culmination of growth and learning. This week, we had the privilege of working with many outstanding leaders as they graduated from our bespoke, year-long leadership programs. A heartfelt shoutout to the inspiring team from Alkimos College, ably led by the authentic and courageous Nancy McNally. Together, Nancy and her team shared moving stories of personal and professional experiences that have shaped their leadership, along with impactful micro-actions from their Agile Leadership Program that helped them "shift the rudder of their leader-ship." The remarkable leaders from St Stephen's School also shared their triumphs and failures, delivering moments of laughter, tears and profound learning as they concluded their program. Their stories remind us that leadership growth often springs from a willingness to embrace vulnerability tinged with resilience and grit. Special thanks to Donella Beare and Stephmarie Snyman (MAHRI) for the opportunity to learn with your incredible people. Meanwhile, the visionary Patricia Rodrigues OAM and her wonderful team at Court Grammar School capped off their 6-month Leadership Fundamentals Program laughs and insights a plenty. Finally, at Hammond Park Secondary College, we delved into workshop seven of their year-long, eight-part leadership journey, exploring the nuances of effective change leadership. Special thanks to Principal Joanne Willesee for her vision and commitment to empowering her leaders for the benefit of the young souls they serve. As we recharge over the weekend, we look forward to another exciting week of leadership development with the amazing teams from St Mark's Anglican Community School, SEDA College WA, and the Department of Education, Western Australia to name a few - such an honour! #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #Education #EducationalLeadership #Teamwork

And "boom" just like that - it's over! Heartfelt congratulations to the remarkable leaders from Guildford Grammar School, who graduated from their year-long Agile Leadership Program adventure! Over seven transformative workshops between February and November 2024, this group courageously explored the depths of agile leadership. The journey culminated this past week with powerful reflections on the highs and lows of life and leadership as participants shared the intersections between their personal and professional stories and celebrated program "micro-actions" that helped them "shift the rudders of their leader-ships." The Liminal Space: Leadership Training and Development wishes this remarkable crew every success as they carry their learnings forward! We’re also super-excited to welcome the 2025 cohort and can’t wait to see where the journey takes them. Sincere thanks to Peter Allen for his visionary leadership and dedication that combined to breathe life into this incredible leadership program. As we call time on another amazing week at The Liminal Space: Leadership Training and Development, we mark two monumental moments in our vision to grow leaders: 🌟 The first highlight: An inspiring session with the leaders of SEDA College WA as they approach the completion of a transformative, two-year leadership development journey. Starting with the Leader XLR8 Program in January 2022, participants engaged with a psychometric assessment that informed and shaped the program. Now, almost 24 months and countless workshops later, the same tool associated with their second year, Leader ELEV8 Program captured profound leadership growth. We were inspired by the stories participants told as they unpacked their post-program data and celebrated the leaders they've become. Special thanks to Rocky Collins for his unwavering support that has brought these bespoke programs to life for the good of his staff and the young people they serve. 🌟 The second highlight: Celebrating with the dedicated Senior Leadership Team at Mercedes College, led by Dr Lucie McCrory GAICD, as they graduated from our year-long, four-workshop Cohesive Teams Program. It was a joy reconnecting with this dynamic team as we explored new strategies to manage role rigour and thrive. Wishing these teams, and school-based leaders everywhere, all the best as they round out 2024 and prepare for an action-packed 2025! #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #Education #EducationalLeadership #Teamwork

Thrilled and grateful for a week full of rich learning and growth! Over the past seven days, The Liminal Space: Leadership Training and Development has been privileged to work with inspiring leaders who are deeply committed to elevating their impact for the people and communities they serve. One highlight was partnering with the Extended Leadership Team at St Jerome's Primary School, led by the visionary Chris Cully. Together, we explored both the unique strengths they bring and the challenges that can arise under time pressure and high complexity. Their openness to self-reflection and growth was truly impressive! Equally rewarding was our work with the dedicated teams from Alkimos College and St Mark's Anglican Community School, led by Nancy McNally and Steven Davies, as we dove into the topic of change leadership during Workshop Seven of their year-long, bespoke Agile Leadership Programs. These powerful journeys has fostered adaptive leadership across these wonderful schools. To round out an incredible week, our Founder, Dr Shane Glasson FACEL, FACELWA, FAIM, FGIA, GAICD joined the All Saints' College Beyond Boundaries Institute Advisory Group, contributing to the vision and future of education at the school and beyond. A special thank you to All Saints' College, Belinda Provis and Cameron Thorn Thorne for the invitation and your hospitality - it's great to be involved! #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #Education #EducationalLeadership #Teamwork #ChangeManagement
