The next step in our vision to become ‘The most loved premium kitchen marketplace’ was to launch the Kobold VB100 cordless vacuum cleaner into Australia, and most recently, the brand-new model, VK7 into Australia and New Zealand. Kobold is a sister brand to Thermomix® – manufactured by the same German owner, Vorwerk. The Mix Australia and New Zealand strives to build sustainable relationships and works enthusiastically to encourage a healthier lifestyle for all, through better cooking and eating practices.

This acquisition highlights Vorwerk’s global strategy to invest in high-growth markets and expand its presence in key strategic regions such as the Asia Pacific. As ‘The Mix’ joins the Vorwerk family, we’re pleased to introduce Philipp Grundler and Joanna Carroll as the new management team for Australia and New Zealand. Philipp will be designated in the role of General Manager, focusing on Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and People & Culture. Philipp brings extensive experience from Vorwerk Austria, where he successfully supported sales initiatives and digital transformation. Joanna Carroll will join as Finance Director, bringing her strong leadership background in finance and operations from Vorwerk UK & Ireland. While ownership is changing, and Grace and Bianca Mazur will leave the company, the rest of the in-house team will remain in place ensuring the world class customer service will continue. We're thrilled to welcome Thermomix in Australia as a new OzHarvest partner! Thanks to their support, we're able to deliver an additional 200,000 meals to Australians in need. Thermomix have also generously provided 40 refurbished Thermomix TM5 machines for OzHarvest kitchens and FEAST partner schools who will be putting them to good use in fighting food waste and nourishing bellies and hearts!
