How chuffed are we that the signed Brisbane Lions football we recently auctioned off at our Charity Gala for the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia just became a signed PREMIERSHIP WINNING TEAM signed football!!! We also cheered extra loud here today because one of our MC's Abby Coleman is a die hard Lions fan - Abby I can only imagine how ecstatic you are right now, what an amazing game! Huge thanks to James Yerbury from Robuk Engineering for joining our last Thought Pilot Advisory Board Meeting as our Educational Speaker. James shared his journey, from launching Robuk in 2020 to leading the way in designing and manufacturing premium, custom-built aluminium and steel trailers for the Australian bulk haulage market. His focus on innovation, strength, and safety is clear in everything Robuk does, but what stood out most was the pride he takes in building strong customer relationships, looking after his staff and delivering top-notch service. Thanks again for being part of our community, James!

Business is hard. Really hard. But there’s a lot to be said for those who will sit in the mud with you while you are your most vulnerable self. And then encourage you to get back up. And that’s what Thought Pilots Advisory Boards is to me. And just for one night, we got to give back - to support a really valuable cause. Well today was a blast!! I had the absolute joy of visiting the Starlight Room to present our official donation from our recent Thought Pilots Advisory Boards Charity Gala to Alia, Doreen and the team from The Starlight Foundation. This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, guests, and everyone who helped make the night a success. We can proudly announce that we raised $44,489 which equates to helping 1,140 children. I still cannot believe what an incredible night we put on and I am so proud of the results we achieved. Today Luke Fletcher, Aaron V., Marie Fletcher and myself Georgi R. were lucky enough to spend the morning in the Starlight Express Room with Captain Starlight and the team from Starlight Children's Foundation Australia We had the privilege to witness first hand how these amazing superheroes can transport the children at the hospital away from all the tests, treatments and isolation that they may be going through and whisk them into a world of laughter and fun. The Thought Pilots team got to have their own fun this morning and I’m very happy to say that Luke came home with a win in the paper aeroplane race, I took out the participation rubber chicken award in the crown decorating competition and Aaron even managed to meet his idol Taylor Swift. The work that happens at the Starlight foundation is so important and so vital to making sick children’s lives even a little more bearable, but they can’t do it without funding and donations from all of us.
