This one might feel a bit like going back to Finance 101 or your first days on the job. There's different types of options and their distinctive features are important: American - exercisable at any time between the purchase date and the date of expiration. Bermudan - a restricted form of the American option that allows for early exercise but only at set dates. Asian - take the average price for every day within the calculation period, then exercise/expire this average vs the strike price (Avg Px vs Strike Px). European - exercised only at the date of expiration. Which can you populate in the 'Option Style' field for EMIR? #TransactionReporting #RegulatoryReporting #Regtech #EMIR #EMIRRefit
