Celebrating a major milestone: Trendspek operating in the Middle East 🇦🇪 Yesterday, Trendspek CEO Derek Feebrey joined Brian Dawes, Senior Vice President of Applus+ Asia Middle East and Africa, for a landmark signing ceremony at the UAE Embassy sponsored by Taronga Ventures and #RealTechX. The event marked the execution of key commercial agreements with UAE customers and partners, witnessed by Nooh Al hammadi, MPA and Elizabeth Wood at the Australian Embassy with The Hon Christopher Pyne. Our push into the UAE has been significantly bolstered by our foundational relationships with Applus+ Pacific, a leader in industry innovation led by Executive Vice President Adam Alessandrino, and the visionary team at Taronga Ventures. These partnerships have played a pivotal role in accelerating our market entry, providing operational expertise, industry credibility, and access to influential networks. We extend our gratitude to Taronga Ventures and #RealTechX for selecting Trendspek as a portfolio company on the UAE Tech Delegation, and for their ongoing support in bringing RealTech innovation to the Emirates. With this strong foundation in place, we look forward to further advancing our role in the region's next wave of real asset development. — Trendspek is pleased to be featured in Taronga Ventures' latest white paper "RealTech: Amplifying the Future Growth of the GCC”. The paper explores technology's critical role in the delivery of the GCC's US$1.68 trillion real asset development pipeline, including commentary from major investors, developers and operators in the region, and case studies of innovation projects delivered. Our case study covering the ongoing King Fahd Causeway project was highlighted, where our software facilitates a global engineering workforce to collaborate online to generate full condition reports, target areas for investigation, and develop maintenance plans to ensure the ongoing longevity and safety of the 25km bridge. 🌎 2024 in Review It’s been amazing to witness how Trendspek is reshaping the way we work! Over the year, we have seen engineers and SMEs from around the world collaborate seamlessly 🇪🇸🇦🇺🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇪 • Spanish engineers conducting condition assessments on maritime infrastructure in Australia • Sydney-based engineers assessing warehouses in the USA • UK SMEs providing invaluable context to projects in the UAE. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Here’s a visual representation of recent site visits, because who doesn’t love a great data visualisation? 😍

To effectively plan key maintenance activities for large industrial assets, Osprey Integrity Ltd Integrity combines safe, advanced UAV surveys with Trendspek's software to deliver 20/20 vision of asset condition. These models and interactive reports are accessible remotely, anywhere in the world, by multiple stakeholders. With comprehensive digital insights, this achieves minimised turnarounds and less financial expenditures when it comes to managing complex industrial and energy assets. ℹ️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁: Using Trendspek, Osprey Integrity collect key insights on structural conditions and build interactive repair packages to inform preventative maintenance programs. 🔍 𝗛𝗼𝘄: Photogrammetry data is collected at regular intervals using integrated reality capture, uploaded into to generate 3D models. These models are interacted with and reviewed collaboratively by various stakeholders. ⚠️ 𝗪𝗵𝘆: Detailed annotations within the 3D model pinpoint deficiencies with millimetre detail. Templates and Folders are customised to classify their criticality, allowing stakeholders to zero in on defects on a visual-rich replica to enable more informed decisions. 🔧 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁: In-app communication of recommended repair timeframes, required tradespeople, and access needs enable clients to create effective maintenance work packages for contractors. "As one example, we eliminated 7 trips of pickup trucks going to the field by using," says Courtland Penk, President of Osprey Integrity Ltd. "We went out once, 3D modelled the facility, put it into the platform where all the different groups could log in, do their measurements, do their site tours, create their own documents... and we were removing 7 trucks from having to go up to that same site, to do the same thing. It's been a transformative year for Trendspek, marked by 7 major product launches, strategic partnerships, global expansion, and industry recognition. 2024 has been defined by our ongoing commitment to make structural management smarter, faster, and more impactful – for every stakeholder, from the board room to the toolbox. 👇 Read some of our highlights in 2024 below.

The first day of our portfolio company delegation to the UAE was outstanding.   Our delegates were grateful for the warm welcome of our friends at Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Hub71.   Then, we met with Abu Dhabi Investment Office's PPP team to understand the extent of their PPP program, shaping the future of Abu Dhabi across multiple asset types. Their vision in engaging with technology companies early and making solutions accessible to developers is critical to their success.   We then visited Abu Dhabi Finance Week to hear from global investment managers on the incredible prospects for the region.   Following, we had the privilege of meeting with ALDAR, who has been a foundation investor and partner in the Middle East. Aldar's innovation team has implemented multiple Taronga Ventures technologies, supported those companies' entry into the UAE and taken pilots to scaled implementation. From the discussion, we expect to see multiple new projects in the works.   Thank you to Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Hub71 and the UAE Embassy in Australia for playing an active role in supporting the entry and future establishment of these Taronga Ventures portfolio companies in the UAE. 

I’m excited to share that Trendspek will be joining Taronga Ventures delegation to further activate the RealTech market in the UAE, travelling on 9 - 11 December. The UAE and broader Middle East represents one of the strongest global regions for real asset technology adoption. This growth is driven by an unprecedented development pipeline and ambitions for delivering future-forward and sustainable landmark assets. Trendspek extended its reach to the UAE in early 2024 as part of the landmark King Fahd Causeway project — a comprehensive inspection led by Applus+, Egis and VSL to assess the 25km bridge linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi. By providing our 3D Structural Lifecycle Management software, we're enabling safe, repeatable inspections of the 25km bridge, alongside digital reporting for a globalised engineering team to record intricate details.
