Latest reports say severe storms are likely to affect large parts of Australia this week - "Millions of Australians could see storms and drenching rains. Gold rally hits fever pitch as price could reach $US6,000 an ounce... The Courier Mail reports that ~ Gold bullion (or bricks of the precious metals) surged again this week, up to $US2,700 ($AU4,070) per ounce last week for the first time and is now up 31 per cent since January. “There is a reality where gold could be reaching $US6,000 an ounce ...with experts predicting the price still has plenty to run. AMP deputy chief economist said the gold price rally continues to be supported as investors move from one concern to the next. “The rally in gold has been phenomenal. Over the past two years, it was initially an inflation hedge, now it’s a hedge against lower interest rates, geopolitical risk and central bank denominated currencies,” she said. ...IG London’s chief market analyst Chris Beauchamp thinks the current rush for investors to buy the precious metal “shows no sign reversing course”.

CELEBRATING MILESTONES AND EMBRACING TEAM SPIRIT AT TRUFLO PUMPS! Last week, the Truflo Pumps’ team came together for a delicious BBQ chicken wrap lunch, celebrating ten years of service for two of our dedicated team members – Shane, National Supply Chain Manager, and Cosi, one of our talented welders in Shed Two. As part of the celebration, Shane and Cosi left their mark – literally! – by imprinting their hands into the Truflo Pumps’ concrete legend blocks, a lasting symbol of their contributions. We also took a moment to wish a very happy birthday to Dan, our Project Manager and Shed Two Production Manager! But the fun didn’t stop there! In the spirit of our ongoing Eight Week Wellbeing Challenge, the team got into the swing of Week Two's Plank Challenge. During our monthly BBQ, everyone took on the plank position with enthusiasm, showing off their strength and determination.
