We're excited to welcome the highly experienced Dr Jamie Phillips as a new Medical Officer at Updoc! As a former Surgeon Commander and Royal Navy Commando in the UK Armed Forces, and Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Army, Dr Jamie is no stranger to high pressure environments where quality leadership is required to ensure healthcare can be delivered when people need it the most. Dr Jamie is comfortable with the spotlight too - he was the Chief Medical Officer on "Special Forces: The World's Toughest Test", needing to be on-demand at all times for a diverse range of healthcare needs under a different kind of pressure. More recently, Dr Jamie has been serving as Sonder's Medical Director, whereby him and the team have been leading the development of a range of high quality, 24/7 care initiatives. If that wasn't enough, he also works regularly as a Senior Medical Officer in Emergency Medicine. Dr Jamie understands the importance of enabling accessible, on-demand care through the use of technology, and we're excited to be bringing him onto the team as we continue to build the future of healthcare.
