    🚨 🚨 VALD Ankle Sprain Cheat Sheet 🚨 🚨 The lateral ankle sprain is commonly under appreciated, and too often patients and athletes consider themselves "better" once they become pain-free. HOWEVER, there are a multitude of physical impairments associated with these injuries. Unless we measure these impairments, we are limited in how well we can intervene. Don't let "feeling well", be a substitute for "functioning well". Here are some of the tests I do with my ankle sprains to help inform my intervention, and ensure my clients are achieving clearly outlined rehab milestones before returning to their previous levels of function.
