Feels pretty surreal to have been at Australian Crypto Convention 2nd time around. Last year we turned up with just an idea and with the feedback we were given, we launched our "boring but safe" crypto backed loans. This year has been an absolute whirlwind but it feels like home to land back at Aus Crypto Con again.

It's getting increasingly hard to get a team photo. We were nominated as a finalist for start-up of the year, so we made an effort to all be in the same room at the same time. We didn't win but Sam Teoh, Johnny Phan, Chantra Hang and Alexander Dauphin don't need any accolades to be the champions they already are.

Johnny Phan as 007 may never come true, what he has done this year in creating Australia's no.1 loan product has been pretty cool. He'll be on stage at Australian Crypto Convention - Nov 23-24, 2024 - ICC, Sydney sharing our journey. Can't guarantee that he'll be doing any stunts or drinking martinis but come along for a good discussion about crypto lending in Australia.

While all the hype is about the Trump election win and a new BTC ATH. Just a reminder to stay vigilant. As the markets rise, inevitably we will see more scams at play. We recently caught wind of a fake job post on Indeed, which at the surface seemed normal, apart from the fact it wasn't real. Once a potential candidate applied, they were asked to message a user on Signal to proceed further with their application. On this occasion the candidate reached out to us when they thought that something wasn't right and we're glad they did. At Vield we've built our name on trust and transparency, and we pride ourselves on being approachable and personable. We've always been willing to assist and advise individuals who have been a target of scams, without asking for anything in return. As a key stakeholder in the crypto industry, we're duty bound to help everyone, not just our customers. For the greater good of the industry itself. Unfortunately, the scams will never go away but we'll always be here to lend a helping hand.
