Yesterday, Marriotternship celebrated our intern graduates at WET deck and welcomed a new cohort in the HR and finance disciplines across the 10 Marriott properties in Melbourne. This program has welcomed 191 interns so far and continues its mission to build a growing community of our next-gen in hospitality and provide them the opportunity to start a career with Marriott International. Last week, Curious hosted the Marriott ANZP Sustainable Bartender Championship final. With 39 impressive entries from across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, the competition was fierce. After a month of cocktail sales and social media buzz, our top 13 finalists showcased their skills in a live judging session. A heartfelt thank you to all participants for your creativity and dedication to sustainability! The judges had a tough task evaluating cocktails based on sustainability, local ingredients, flavour, technique, and storytelling. Cheers!

Over the next 19 weeks, I will continue working across the F&B (Food & Beverage) departments, gaining valuable experience in this dynamic and inspiring environment. This opportunity allows me to learn more about the hospitality industry, refine my skills, and grow both personally and professionally.
