  • …And that’s Christmas wrapped for 2024! Our team enjoyed a fabulous lunch last week at Bar Jayda in the Melbourne CBD, with gift swapping, delicious food, laughs-a-plenty and lots of excitement and energy about the year ahead.   Our offices will be closed from Friday 20 December and we will reopen refreshed and ready for 2025, on Monday 6 January.

  • As a #Bcorp company, we're always looking for ways to go beyond business as usual, and this week we were proud to support a great home grown initiative; after. Our staff collected nearly 100kg of textiles from their homes that would have otherwise been destined for landfill, but by partnering with after., this textile waste will now be used to make high quality yarn, industrial fil, pigments for printing and more. Together, we're turning waste into opportunity and improving our impact on the planet.

  • Today we launch Appendix W: The Wallis Social Research Podcast; where we take a deep dive into the science of society. In each episode we explore the ideas, data, and/or people shaping our understanding of human behaviour, policy, and culture. Join us as we unpack the stories behind the studies, challenge assumptions, and uncover what makes our world tick.   On our first episode, Anthony Frosh speaks with Samantha Cockfield, the Head of Road Safety at the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), about developments in road safety and the research behind those developments.    To listen, head to the links in our comments. #SocialResearch #SocialInsights #Podcast

  • As the year winds down, we took some time to come together and celebrate with an office potluck! While the desserts didn’t make it into the photo, trust us—they were just as impressive as the rest of this delicious spread. We're feeling grateful, and stomach-full, thanks to this delicious lunch from our talented cooks and bakers in the team.
