WA Primary Health Alliance shapes, strengthens and sustains a health system that works for people. #BetterHealthTogether
About us
We shape, strengthen and sustain a health system that works for people, to achieve better healthcare particularly for those at risk of poor health outcomes. We are responsible for planning, guiding and directing investment towards important primary healthcare services. We identify priorities, link services, and fund care that is locally accessible, by working together with GPs, service providers, government and its agencies, and communities. We do this as the operator of the state’s three Primary Health Networks, which form part of the Australian Government’s national PHN program. We fund a range of primary healthcare services that helps more people access the care they need closer to home. We are delivering better health, together.

This PrideFEST, we held a number of events to celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion at WAPHA 🌈 A highlight was marching in the annual Pride Parade with Living Proud. United under the vibrant banner of inclusivity, we marched together for a brighter future where everyone feels safe, proud, and included. This year’s theme, “Together, Go West,” really hits home. With 11% of WA's population identifying as LGBTIQA+, it’s crucial to address health disparities and ensure access to safe, inclusive health care for all. #PrideFEST #InclusionAtWork #GoWest #Prideparade Living Proud

🌈 To celebrate #PrideFest and mark Inclusion Week at Work, we shared a lunch in our Subiaco office which was awash with colourful rainbow frosted cupcakes and adorned with posters and flags. Thanks to new pronoun and flag pins, and rainbow lanyards, we are very well equipped to show our support as LGBTIQA+ allies.
