We're in for a long, hot summer. A big shout out and sincere thanks to all our team members who don't get to work in an air-conditioned office. And who continue to sweat it out and deliver for Sydney Water's customers in Western Sydney as Sydney swelters. Take care, and stay cool. We think you are the coolest! #wrdt

Give me a Q Give me a U Give me a A Give me a L Give me a I Give me a T Give me a Y What does it spell? QUALITY. We can all spell it, but following all things quality to the letter takes dedication and true professionalism. Good quality management is only half the job; fostering a good quality culture is the other half. Thank you WRDT Quality team for sharing #WorldQualityWeek with us to raise awareness and promote best practices in Quality. #wrdt #worldqualityweek

MS Gong Ride 2024 complete! With the support of our partners we raised a staggering $71k in the fight against multiple sclerosis! It was also fantastic to have some of our sponsors join us for the ride! Many thanks to all our sponsors and to our support crew. If you'd still like to contribute, every dollar helps support the amazing work that MS Plus does! https://lnkd.in/g9ySCwC9 West Region Delivery Team MS Plus #WRDTCC #community

"I love a sun burnt country, A land of sweeping plains, Of ragged mountain ranges"... and 140 species of snakes. One of our brave project teams, surrounded by the beautiful bush land of Western Sydney, held an interactive toolbox on being snake-safe, hosted by Andrew Melrose from Live Reptile Displays. Special native guests included the Red Bellied Black snake, the Death Adder, the Tiger Snake, the Eastern Brown and the Diamond Python. You never know what you might find napping in a pipe, slumbering under a roll of geo fabric, or hiding out in a gumboot. Be snake-safe this season. #wrdt #snakesafe (words taken from the poem ‘My Country’ by Dorothea MacKellar)

Our Capital Delivery and Service Delivery teams were privileged to hear from Patrizia Cassaniti, founder of Patrizia Cassaniti Touched by Christopher and Christopher's mum. Christopher Cassanti's death is the reality of tragedy. Patrizia's mission is to share her story in the hope that the tragedy she and her family live with is the only tragedy we are ever exposed to because coming home from work safely is a right, not a privilege. #wrdt #staysafe #touchedbychristopher #christopherslaw #letstalkaboutsafety

When Barry Larkin committed suicide in 1995 his family were left with grief and endless questions. His son, Gavin Larkin had just one question to honour his father and to try and protect other families from the pain that his family endured: 'Are you OK?' And from this, RU OK? Day was born. This year, the theme for RU OK? Day is: Ask RU OK? Any Day because life happens every day, and the West Region Delivery Team has adopted this theme and taken it very literally. Our commitment to mental health and wellbeing extends beyond just one day. We're committed to doing more every day, so this week we launched 'WELL' Health and Wellbeing, our very own mental health initiative. It's just the beginning of our initiative, but like Gavin Larkin, you've got to start somewhere. Start here and enjoy this compilation of messages from some brave members of our team who have started the conversation. Remember, a conversation could change a life. Thank you Iain McGregor CMgr FIML, BEng James Boskovski, Katie Matthews CQP MCQI, Emma Donnellan, Ben Samcou, Zubyer Athar, Lydia R. and Brad Pilsworth #well #ruok #wrdt #endthestigma
