White Tiger Korean Martial Arts

We teach Taekwondo and Haidong Gumdo in Glebe, Annandale, Redfern and Sydenham. Our curriculum includes specialised kids, women's, mixed, and advanced classes, and private tuition is available. Head Instructor Kristen Mann (4th Dan Taekwondo, 2nd Dan Haidong Gumdo) has decades of experience, and began instructing Taekwondo under Master Andrew Johnston in 2001, after being a Team Leader at Wolves since 1999. Kristen has also taught extensively in the Active After School Hours program in dedicated OOSH centres throughout the Blue Mountains and Inner West, and developed self-defence and sports-taekwondo programs for high schools and community centres. Kristen is a National-level tournament fighter in Taekwondo, and represented Australia in Haidong Gumdo at the World Titles in Korea in 2010. Our school teaches traditional martial arts, encoded in respect, discipline, and honesty. We are dedicated to our students, and ensure our classes are safe spaces for people of all backgrounds and experience. All ages and levels of experience welcome (although students must be 12 years and older to partipate in sword classes). Training in martial arts can suit a wide range of needs, whether you are looking for fitness, self defence, traditional discipline and martial arts skills or simply something fun and new to try. First two classes free. We offer student discounts, and also have a local scholarship program available. *Sadly we had to go on hiatus in 2014, due to Kristen's relocation to Europe.
