Glenferrie Lodge sold to Sydney developer WINIM through CBRE Former Glenferrie Lodge Kirribilli sold for $23 million to Sydney-based developer WINIM, with plans to develop a $50m luxury hotel, brokered by CBRE’s Hotels’ Director, Raymond Tran. “The preservation of the hotel in a luxury format will be well-received by the hotel market and local neighbourhood, particularly given the aura and location worthiness of Kirribilli. WINIM’s redevelopment will bring the property into the next century, activating the local area with a luxury hotel and residential clientele,” Raymond Tran said. WINIM’s Managing Director Justin Kuiters said, "This project, as well as Parnell House in Newcastle, underscores WINIM’s dedication to adaptive reuse and innovative mixed-use design, by creating thoughtful places that celebrate the character of their surroundings." Thank you to The Urban Developer for the feature on one of WINIM's milestone Advisory projects, Warrawong Plaza. Our Advisory team, led by Ry Stephen and Wilma Leahy, worked with long-standing client Elanor Investors Group on the 7 hectare site, to upgrade and increase yield. The shopping centre now boasts a 95 percent occupancy, $186-million valuation and a weighted average lease expiry of 5.1 years. Elanor Investors head of retail, development and mixed-use use Matt Healy remarked on the "7ha of very well-located land in a trade area that is undergoing significant densification as well as gentrification" and that our team's "expertise, knowledge, and proactive nature makes most projects seamless". A fantastic project for our advisory team to have a worked on, thank you to our clients Elanor Investors Group and construction partners Mainbrace Constructions Pty Ltd and i2C Architects.
