In line with our Sustainability Strategy, we were delighted that our Kingston and Myaree Showrooms were selected by NABERS, as some of Australia's first retail stores to be assessed and receive a NABERS star rating. The NABERS rating helps identify areas of improvement and highlights opportunities to increase energy efficiency.
NABERS for Retail Stores is coming soon! We recently held our last advisory panel session with a diverse group of retailers, who have helped shape the development of this tool. Seventeen retail stores have also completed a pilot program of the NABERS Energy for Retail Stores tool, including ANZ, HSBC, Kmart Australia Limited, M.J. Bale, Winning Appliances and Centuria Capital Group. On 25 July we will be holding a NABERS Energy for Retail Stores training webinar for Assessors to be accredited to provide ratings for this new sector.
