Bon Voyage, Celo! Marcelo kicks off another whirlwind year on the road (200 days overseas, no less!). Time to build on last year’s momentum and take WINR to the next level. Safe travels - here’s to making an impact, growing the team, and maybe even getting a full night’s sleep in one city!
Soooo….. just as I was settling into a late Sydney Summer, having had an incredible 5 months at home with the team, friends and family, it’s time to hit the road again for 2025! And yes, it kicked off with my first #CES in Vegas in early January which really kick started the year for me and the Sales Team in fairly brutal fashion. (I think we had about 60 meetings in 3 days…) I’m looking forward to spending time in the US, UK and Europe over the next 6 months, attending conferences like #RampUp with our incredible partner, #LiveRamp, before heading to #MRC, #Fintech Week in New York, #Possible in Miami and then heading to Europe for #Money2020 and #Cannes. Themes for the year are already appearing in the form of ‘how do we increase match rates and audience reach’ for the #AdTech and Digital Advertising Sectors with real focus on building out robust, privacy complaint ID Graphs. For the IDV sector, match rates remain a focus, but more and more we are finding requirements for data driven, AI solutions to combat the ever increasing e-commerce fraud solutions. What will we do differently this year? One of the keys things for us in 2025 is to leverage what we’ve achieved last year in terms of things like the Deloitte Fast Tech 50, attaining ISO27001 (sexy, eh?) status and frankly grow up, scale up and stay there! I told the crew that this year was the year that will define us… so time to walk the walk! For me personally… I’m going to try and have more than one night in each destination! I’m getting too old for five straight nights in different beds! I want to really take in the energy and vibe of every city I have the pleasure of visiting. I want to spend a little more time with each of our major clients and really listen to the challenges they have. And the most exciting element for this year is working one on one with our growing US and EU based teams, face to face and supporting their growth and impact that they can have on the business. It’s been so good to pause… breathe and reflect on the past couple of years whilst at home but it’s time to get back out there and see how our team of WINRs are going to scale this incredible business over the next couple of years. Exciting times…
