Wodonga TAFE had the opportunity to attend the ADFRES Employer Immersion Activity at Puckapunyal on 20-21 November 2024, where employers observed exercise war fighter and got a taste of what a reservist may get up to when undertaking service.   Activities included eating hot boxes, getting to ride in vehicles, speaking with reservists from across all areas of the exercise, and even staying on base.   Thank you to ADF Reserves and Employer Support, Defence Australia & Australian Army for the hospitality and we look forward to streghening our support to those Reserves and Veterans of whom we are lucky enough to call members of Wodonga TAFE.   Wodonga TAFE would also like to acknowledge all Defence personnel and Veterans, as well as their families, and thank them for their service.   #Defence #YourADF   RTO 3097

Wodonga TAFE had the pleasure of attending the Leap Ahead | Rapid Round Interviews Connecting Youth to Local Jobs event, organised by North East Local Learning and Employment Network (NELLEN) and Local Jobs Program Goulburn Murray Employment Region last week. The event brought together 16 local employers, including Wodonga TAFE, providing an excellent platform to connect with youth seeking career guidance and employment opportunities.   "We conducted close to 20 interviews with eager and enthusiastic candidates who were open to any advice that could help shape their future career paths. One of these amazing candidates will soon commence in a traineeship role with Wodonga TAFE as a result. The event was impeccably organised, and the hosts made us feel welcomed and well-supported."
