The XESS Standalone Solution is suited to off-grid or on-grid UPS applications. It’s flexibility and versatility allows systems to start from as low as 8 kW of PV, 10 kWh of storage & 4.8 kW of AC Output, and scale to 64 kW of PV, 320 kWh of storage & 38.4 kW of AC output. Some may say that 64kW of PV is not enough. Well simply integrate AERLs range of wall mount CoolMax MPPTs into the system and expand PV to as much as you like….all controlled via Canbus integration. The XESS solutions unique ability to provide a modular and redundant approach to off-grid applications sets it apart from your traditional approach, offing users and integrators complete peace of mind when it comes to performance, reliability, scalability and generator interaction. With the current low feed-in tariffs offered by energy retailers, the impact on the payback period of a solar system is minimal. Additionally, restrictions on the total allowable inverter capacity can prevent systems from being optimized to meet the customer's needs. The XESS solution offers true on-grid UPS and grid isolation functinality meaning no approvals are required to connect the system to the utility grid. Couple this with scaling the system to suit the customers requirements and offering zero millisecond change over in the event of grid outage, allows for a superior system.
