The newest Zonely partnership and our first event in Melbourne is LIVE at Big Swing Golf! 🎉 With thanks to the team at Big Swing Golf and their Melbourne CBD location, we are hosting our first ever Zonely inclusive golf event and networking mixer this Thursday 28th November from 6 - 8pm. 🤝 It is during the Australian Open Golf week, so what better way to help more people get into the game, in a safe, inclusive and fun environment! 😍 You can already be a golfer or just golf curious and a beginner as we'll have a bit of lesson at the start too and roaming help.🏌️♀️ Big Swing Golf is an indoor simulator so we'll get to play both on a digital golf course and on the digital driving range plus we will have longest drive and nearest the pin games with prizes! We've just ticked over 300 members in our Zonely Sydney golf group on Facebook! 🎉 We've been using Facebook as one of our main funnels because there are so many communities and groups that are looking to find active friends in one common sport AND book a time to play, but Facebook doesn't do that second part. 🤔 But we do. ⛳️👍🏼 I've learnt a lot through our hyper local and golf specific community. Mainly people just want to play the sport with kind, vetted humans, and mostly they don't care what age, gender, race or ability their group is. I believe this assumption will transfer into other sports. Zonely hit up Cammeray Golf Club for our "Last Sunday of the Month Ambrose" teams event on the weekend. ✨ Ambrose or "Scramble" is played from the best ball in a foursome. It's a format that anyone can play, and that's how charity and corporate golf days are often played too. Zonely partner Lane Cove Golf Course is going through a massive renovation, including a multi-sport facility upgrade, a brand new club house and a transition to being an epic community place-maker for the area. 🙌🏼 But the golf course is still open and they have finished all of the updates to the 9 hole layout! ❤️ We love playing this fun but tough little track, especially those members who love the Ambrose teams format! You hit your ball into the gully on the difficult par 3, no worries!
