The Role

At Cullen Jewellery, our continued growth means the exciting opportunity to bring an Accountant into the team. As a valued member of the team, the Accountant would be providing support and collaborating closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the seamless operation of financial processes. This role is critical in supporting the company’s growth initiatives and maintaining compliance across local and international markets.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Facilitate seamless payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Conduct reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy across accounts.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, supporting smooth global operations.
  • Partner with the Finance Manager to prepare and review financial reports that drive insights.
  • Contribute to the company’s international expansion initiatives by assisting with financial planning and reporting related to global markets.

What You'll Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards certification).
  • Proven experience in managing payroll, reconciliations, and/or statutory compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder collaboration
