ABOUT THE ROLE.

As a manager, your role is central to your team's success. Your key responsibilities include;

  • Leading team development and delegating tasks to supervisors.
  • Plan and implement team training and engagement activities.
  • Manage team productivity and provide capacity reporting.
  • Upskill team members and oversee client file reviews.
  • Continuously improve processes and manage client onboarding.
  • Achieve revenue and profit targets, manage forecasting, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Assist with monthly client invoicing.
  • Build relationships with other divisions and ensure efficient handling of inquiries.
  • Foster strong client relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication.
  • Address client complaints promptly and work towards resolution.


SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.

  • 3+ years experience in a team leadership position of 3+ people
  • 3+ years experience in a senior bookkeeper or senior finance role
  • Experience in an accounting firm or professional services industry will be highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Sound time management and organisational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Xero Advisor Accreditation would be an advantage
