Your new role
The ICT Business Analyst is responsible for supporting BIS (Business Information Solution) Team with the identify solutions and analyse requirements, supporting business case development.
Accountabilities
The position will most often work as a part of a greater solutions development team in a central IT department, working collaboratively with the project team to transform the dept.
As per BAI02, Define and maintain business functional and technical requirement.
Specify and prioritise the information, functional and technical requirements based on the confirmed stakeholder requirements
Manage and engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and confirm that all stakeholder requirements.
Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
What you'll need to succeed
Access to key stakeholders and SME’s
Understanding of the rail industry
Implementing new business processes
Ability to understand technical and industry-based terminology quickly, capable utilising a variety of techniques and creative problem-solving approaches when working with stakeholders
Good understanding of cloud-based technologies
Broad understanding of technology – web application development.
Solid understanding of SDLC lifecycle
