Business Development Manager

WOW Recruitment is currently looking for a driven Commercial Business Development Manager for our client in the Renewable Energy sector.

This is both an on the field and office based role, the role will involve travel prospective client sites where you will close sales face to face.

• 80k - 90k Base + Car Allowance (OTE $150k + in your first year!)
• Offices in Southbank!
• Flexible working arrangements - On the Field and In the Office
• Phone-based and face-to-face selling experience is highly desirable!

The Role:

• Selling, promoting and marketing energy efficiency
• Conducting audits, compliance checks and site assessments for prospective customers
• Attending pre booked appointments to close commercial clients
• Converting sales leads into happy customers
• Managing the entirety of the sales process
• Building a customer base through face to face meetings
• Selling energy solutions to the commercial space

You will have:

• Previous experience in B2B selling and/or a similar role
• Prior commercial solar sales experience is a major advantage
• A vehicle & full Australian licence (Preferred)
• Excellent face to face communication skills
• Enthusiasm and a confident approach
• Proven track record for surpassing challenging sales targets
• Passion for seeking and developing new business
• A positive and outgoing personality
• Resilient attitude and self-starting mentality
