Peninsula Link O&M Contract within our Transport Division
About The Role
We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our team to drive excellence in safety, customer focus and project delivery across the Peninsula Link O&M Contract in our Transport division. You will be responsible and accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the contract and support a large reconstruction project in the pipeline. This is a long-term contract that offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of initiatives within the transport division at Service Stream. Your primary base will be at our Frankston South location, though there is the option to work from our brand-new Head Office on Collins Street, should you be open to travelling.
Your Key Duties Will Include
Overall decision-making for day-to-day operations of the project in carrying out works as specified under the contract.
Acting as the key client/customer representative on the project including maintaining, developing and improving on client and customer relationships to ensure a high level of service.
Leading a small team and overseeing the performance of all project personnel.
Ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of all activities undertaken on the project, including the asset inventory.
Ensuring that inspection, testing, cleaning and maintenance of the asset is carried out in accordance with the project program.
Overseeing the project management of service sub-contractors to ensure they are appropriately licensed and inducted, and that their work is executed to the satisfaction of the Client and in accordance with agreed specification, terms, conditions and budget.
Ensuring that all contractual requirements are managed such that any liability to Service Stream is understood and mitigated.
Managing budgeting, forecasting and cost control on the project, including regular monitoring of progress and updating of financial information.
Establishing and maintaining the forecast maintenance program ensuring each asset class design life is managed appropriately to achieve successful asset handover in accordance with the contract.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
At least ten years’ experience successfully leading projects in Engineering, Roads and/or Maintenance industries.
Bachelor qualifications in Engineering or related field would be highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience working with large D&C projects.
Strong commercial acumen (PPP experience would be highly regarded) and stakeholder engagement and management skills.
Current driver’s licence.
