Base pay range
- Full time, 12-month contract

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide our small but mighty finance team with financial accounting support during the period of the Finance Transformation Program, undertaking various tasks in line with the workload and priorities of the team. Responsibilities
The key areas of accountability in this role will be to provide support in completing accounts receivable and accounts payable, banking, insurances, investments, assets and tax and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards and internal controls, noting that these will vary depending on the phase of the project.
They include:
- Process the journals that are required for the completion of monthly financial reporting.
- Process customer invoices in a timely manner ensuring accuracy, compliance and appropriate record keeping.
- Manage and maintain the customer master data within the finance system.
- Complete regular Raiser’s edge uploads into the Finance system.
- Complete weekly bank reconciliations.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and recommend action to address items of variance.
- Follow up and report on aged receivables and escalate as required.
- Prepare audit files on a monthly and year end basis and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Support and participate in relevant internal audits.
- Assist with accounting and management of programs.
- Assist with the completion of grant acquittals.
- Assist with month end reporting.
Let’s talk about you
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA), part or fully qualified.
- 5+ years of experience in finance roles.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexibly on a variety of tasks.
- Attention to details and excellent organisational skills.
