Role Overview:

We understand the importance of balancing work and family life, and we’re looking for a talented Financial Accountant who values flexibility and stability. This remote-first role offers the opportunity to work primarily from home, with occasional days in our Melbourne office to connect with our friendly Finance team.


In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our financial operations across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Your responsibilities will include overseeing global payroll administration, ensuring compliance across the globe, and providing valuable financial insights to drive the success of our global business.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of fortnightly payroll
  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Management of additional payroll items such as annual reporting, US benefits, Superannuation etc.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations including GST/VAT, income tax, and payroll tax across Australia, NZ, UK and USA.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to manage statutory reporting and audits
  • Assistance and review of monthly results and KPI/Metric reporting.
  • Assistance with reconciliations including data input at times may be required
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement in financial operations across regions.



Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CA/CPA Qualified highly regarded
  • Experience in payroll preparation and other required payroll reporting and compliance
  • Strong ability to reconcile accounts, prepare accruals and post journal entries with a focus on accuracy is a must.
  • Ability to review month end figures and explain the why behind the numbers
  • Experience in preparing tax compliance requirements across different jurisdictions
  • You are commercially minded and have experience in a commercial role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar software required
  • Experience in the technology / software industry is considered a bonus.
