About the role

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller is an integral part of the executive leadership team. The role will partner closely with key internal key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information to support commercial decision-making, whilst leading and managing the finance function.

The successful candidate will also develop the corporate services and strategic functions to support the rapid expansion of the group.

The successful applicant will have oversight of:

• Manage Funds for the Group
• Develop and monitor Performance Measures for the Group, and comparison to Industry Benchmarks
• Design and implement strategic business initiatives
• Lead the team's Finacial function and manage direct reports reporting up to the CFO
• Manage for risk mitigation and asset protection strategies across the Group
• Manage the Group’s relationships with its external advisors and consultants including accounting, finance, legal, IT and human resources

To be considered the applicant possess:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• CA or CPA Qualified
• Experience in a Senior Finance role
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and accounting & reporting standards
• Knowledge of Construction Software, preferable
• Experience in the Building & Construction industry is desirable
