The Organisation:

Our client is a Healthcare provider with operations throughout the country. They are part of a large global not-for-profit network re-investing profits to support both broader domestic and overseas operations.

The Role:

As Financial Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, and analysis, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the finance function. Leading a talented team of five, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Management Accountant, and Financial Accountant, and you will also manage outsourced payroll operations.

This is more than just a technical role. You'll play a pivotal part in budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis, partnering with senior leaders across the business to provide insights that shape strategy and drive performance.

About you:

• CPA / CA qualification
• A strong technical accounting background
• Demonstrated experience in leading a finance team
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis.
• Experience in health-related finance operations, including processing Medicare, private health, and government funding.
• Proven ability to thrive in high transactional environments
• A commercial mindset and the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.
