About the role:
The Finance Director will support across all day-to-day operations to assist the team in executing at speed for clients. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on the strategic and operational support for portfolio and platform companies.
Given the multi-faceted nature of the group’s activities, the role offers access to a wide range of tasks and learning opportunities, with opportunities to grow into other roles in the future. It is an amazing opportunity for those with a keen interest in venture capital & the verticals that our client funds.
As part of your daily duties, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of quarterly BAS and draft journals
- Manage portfolio overview
- Monitor project costing
- Manage Group & client reporting
- Act as primary liaison between the Group and third-party tax agents and auditors and manage compliance
- Manage Accounts payable and receivable function
- Design, develop and refine procedures to ensure workflows are efficient and effective and aid finance in delivering business outcomes.
- Provide Consultation on Investments
To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- 4+ years experience in a similar position of senior management
- Significant attention to detail
- Experience working with outside partners/parties.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Xero and other relevant accounting software.
- Experience within Business Services is highly desirable
- Experienced in the preparation of financial reporting, for both financial and commercial management purposes
- Experience with funds management and maintaining, issuing and recording units.
