The Role
Attitude is everything in this position. We are looking for reliable team players with a can-do attitude. Your engaging and bubbly personality along with your exceptional communication skills will contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience from check-in through to check-out. You will be okay with working in a changing environment, and will have the ability to remain calm, efficient and organised during peak periods. Solid admin and computer skills are also essential in this role.
NOTE: This role will require flexibility between a Mon - Sun - shifts will take place after hours from 11:00pm - 7:00AM.
Duties & Responsibilities
This role is a unique mix of front office reception, property management, and customer service and will give you a great opportunity to learn new skills in a supported learning environment. As the Front Office Receptionist, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Operate the day-to-day front desk reception.
- Assist all prospective residents and visitors in the most efficient and professional manner
- Customer service experience in the accommodation industry
- Experience in a University environment (highly regarded)
- Prior knowledge of RMS is an advantage
- Be culturally aware/competent and understanding towards different cultures
- Valid Working Rights in Australia and New Zealand
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
