We have been retained by this $500m property and housing group to appoint a GM Finance who will partner with the CEO, as this organisation embarks on a significant growth and transformation journey. Reporting to the Group CEO you will take full ownership of the finance function, leading and delivering all financial operations of this complex organisation. However the real driver is to find an individual who can lead, inspire and "take ownership" of this rapidly evolving finance function.

Whilst this is a role that requires an individual who has exposure to all aspects of financial management the determining factor will be an individual who can demonstrate the capacity to lead and influence. The CEO is looking for a candidate that is comfortable presenting to boards and has the gravitas to operate at an executive level. You will take ownership of;

• Manage and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions of the company and related financial analysis/reporting (eg. Month end reporting of Budget vs Actual) within Internal and External requirements.
• Ensure that the Board and senior leadership team are able to rely upon financial data to make decisions regarding the direction of the group.
• Drive accountability for business performance by preparing and presenting business performance (as well and the underlying drivers) in a variety of forums in a manner that ensures understanding and commitment to required actions.
• Lead the delivery of company budgets and related analysis to meet reporting requirements and support the strategic direction of the company within Internal timelines and requirements so that the business can strategically plan for future growth.
• Coordinate and oversee the statutory financial statements audit of the business so that all regulatory accounting requirements are satisfied by the set deadlines.
• Key point of contact for auditors, liaising on all key risk areas identified from audit, managing audit partners queries and responsible for technical accounting matters with the support of the Financial Controller.
