Role Overview:
The Head of Insurance at AutoGrab will be a key driver of our sales-focused growth in the insurance vertical. You will take charge of aggressively expanding our presence in Australia, focusing on building relationships, closing enterprise deals, and leading the sales efforts for AutoGrab's cutting-edge insurance solutions. This role is hands-on, with a primary emphasis on driving top-line revenue through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and enterprise sales. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will work at the intersection of sales and technology to lead the charge in transforming the insurance industry and capturing new market opportunities
Key Responsibilitie
- Sales Leadership: Own and lead the sales strategy for the insurance vertical, driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, enterprise sales, and key partnerships.
- P&L Ownership: Manage the insurance vertical’s P&L, ensuring profitability through aggressive sales targets, revenue generation, and cost optimisation.
- Enterprise Sales: Lead the sales team in identifying, engaging, and closing enterprise-level deals with key insurance players across in AU.
- Market Expansion: Actively seek new business opportunities, identifying untapped markets and verticals where AutoGrab can disrupt the insurance landscape
- Customer Acquisition: Drive the full sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and implementation, focusing on growing AutoGrab’s customer base and revenue streams
- Partnership Development: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key industry players, driving the adoption of AutoGrab's insurance solutions and broadening the customer base.
- Sales Enablement: Empower your sales team with the right tools, training, and resources to hit their sales targets and close deals faster
- Tech-Driven Sales: Use AutoGrab’s innovative technology and data-driven solutions to differentiate and sell in a competitive insurance market
- Feedback Loop: Collect customer insights and market feedback to continually refine sales strategies and product offerings
- Product Enhancement: Drive continuous improvement in AutoGrab's insurance products, ensuring we capture more of the motor insurance value chain, identify key value drivers that mean we remain competitive and meet the evolving needs of the market
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in the insurance industry with a proven track record of driving aggressive sales growth and leading enterprise-level deals in a B2B SaaS or tech-driven environment.
- Expertise in scaling sales teams, managing large, complex sales cycles, and consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry value chain, with the ability to leverage technology to sell into claims, underwriting, reinsurance, and distribution.
- Exceptional sales skills with experience building long-term relationships with key stakeholders and negotiating large deals.
- Proven ability to manage P&L, set and achieve revenue targets, and ensure the financial health of the insurance vertical
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA is a plus).

- Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of insurance tech trends and continuously evolve the sales strategy to ensure AutoGrab maintains its competitive edge.
