Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our key client accounts. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide them with the best logistics solutions. This is a full-time, permanent position based close to the CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place freight with shipping lines & overseas agents
- Search market for best available rates, space & transit times.
- Work with customer service team to ensure clients are informed of delays to ETAs and managed accordingly.
- Liaise with transport companies on tariffs and one-off quotations.
- Liaise with clients & potential new prospects, convert enquiries into business.
- Quoting and following up all quotes to be uploaded and maintained in Salesforce.
- Update Salesforce CRM with quotes and sales activity.
- Ensuring Track & Tracing is in place for clients.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales
- Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and Cargowise software
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
