The Role

We are looking for a client-focused and experienced Legal Assistant to work in our Melbourne Financial Services team in a team of two legal assistants supporting three Partners and six other lawyers.


Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Preparing legal documents and proposal documents;
  • Client engagement and diary management;
  • Opening and closing files;
  • Billing; and
  • Preparing and formatting documents in MS Word.


Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a professional approach and excellent communication skills, with a client service focus. You will be a career Legal Assistant with at least 2 years’ experience. You will be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in prioritising tasks, displaying initiative and have good attention to detail. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is deadline-driven.
