Business Overview

Finance and Accounting provide business partnership and specialist accounting and financial analysis support to our investors and our internal teams through: Finance Strategy, Business Planning and Budgeting, Workforce Planning, Fund Accounting, Corporate Financial and Management Reporting, Corporate Tax and Regulatory Reporting, Accounts Receivable and Payable, and Procurement.

Corporate Services provides administration support to the business and manage our office facilities – along with reception, office services and client services.

Our Legal & Tax teams work with the business and our investors to provide support on our global products and services, and the markets in which we operate.

The Role

The Office Reception Manager oversees office management services across Sydney and Melbourne. Handling calls, emails, and welcoming stakeholders, while also managing administrative tasks, employee transitions, and travel programs. They will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, lead the reception team, and collaborate on workplace health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Oversee office management services, including handling calls, emails, and welcoming stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative services such as document preparation and mail handling.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Oversee travel and corporate programs.
  • Handle day-to-day operations of the head office, taking initiative and leading tasks independently.
  • Manage staff activation, deactivation, and resource tracking.
  • Lead the reception team and solve problems independently.
  • Collaborate with the Workplace Health and Safety Committee to ensure compliance with health and safety responsibilities.

Your Background And Experience

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in business management / finance or equivalent is required
  • Preferably 3+ years’ experience in corporate reception environment (financial services / consulting firms preferred)
  • 3+ years with experience of operating autonomously managing staff within the corporate services environment
  • Appspace knowledge preferred
  • Budgeting & resource management
  • Knowledge of administration practices and procedures
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite and products
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Previous experience within a professional services firm or organisation favourable
