Position Summary:

The Operations Manager will ensure the smooth operation of the company’s technology infrastructure, while also overseeing selected office administrative functions. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to support business goals and drive digital innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the IT strategy for the SBU, ensuring alignment with corporate technology policies.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and business value.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud solutions.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems by implementing robust cybersecurity measures.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing failures and disruptions promptly.
  • Oversee IT projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with key IT vendors and service providers.
  • Serve as the escalation point for IT-related issues, ensuring consistent service levels.
  • Prepare and manage the annual IT budget in coordination with business heads.
  • Manage office technology needs, including hardware procurement, software licensing, and office automation.
  • Liaise with office service providers for facilities, communication systems, and other administrative needs.
  • Streamline administrative workflows through the adoption of IT tools and digital processes.
  • Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless office operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, contracts, and administrative expenditures.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of IT management experience, with team leadership preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-level IT infrastructure and scalable solution architecture.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, data protection, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle), VMware, MS Exchange, SQL, and network security.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, COBIT 5, CGEIT, CRISC) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Negotiation skills for vendor management and contract discussions.
  • Experience with office operations, facilities management, or related administrative functions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles, including resource allocation and coordination.
