Paralegal, Conveyancer or Solicitor
We are currently seeking several skilled and enthusiastic legal professional for various positions to join our expanding team on a full-time basis. Our practice spans multiple areas of law, including property law, civil litigation, criminal law, wills and estates.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents, including Contracts of Sale, Section 32 Vendors' Statements, transfer documents and stamp duty forms;
- Facilitate complex property transactions;
- Manage criminal matters within the summary stream at the Magistrates' Court of Victoria;
- Draft statements of claim and briefs for counsel;
- Draft lease agreements and sale of business contracts;
- Manage electronic filing and document management;
- Liaise with clients, barristers, court clerks, police prosecutors, judicial officers, court registrars, bank managers and professionals at all levels;
- Create and maintain client files;
- Provide general legal administrative support to the wider team;
- Conduct online certificate searches;
- Prepare statements of adjustments; and
- Appearance work at VCAT, the Magistrates' Court, the Supreme Court and at mediation.
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and grow;
- Ability to work independently;

- Competence in independently manage files;
- Self-motivated and driven;
- Strong work ethic; and
- Ability to perform under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB);
- Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP);
- Bachelor of Legal Studies; and
- Diploma of Conveyancing.
Experience:
- Experience with PEXA, Matter Centre, TriConvey, Smokeball, EFAS, Duties Online and LEAP Legal Software will be highly regarded, though training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Schedule:
- Full-time position, five days a week, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Remuneration:
- Based on experience and qualifications;
- For the right candidates with relevant experience, a base salary of $80,000 plus superannuation and a bonus sharing of 1/3rd on total annual billings is available.
