Job Description:


Mission (Why we exist)

  • We empower Stellantis to navigate compliance, ethics and business risks, and enact its plans in a sustainable manner by understanding the goals of Stellantis, working collaboratively with all Stellantis staff to find innovative solutions and mitigating risk appropriately while fostering growth and having fun along the way. Transform the Legal team by freeing up the IAP lawyers to have greater impact.

Scope

  • Work across all functional areas of the Stellantis Australia, Stellantis Regional and Stellantis Global businesses.


Tasks

  • Many and various including legal administrative support, contract management and legal operations, agreement development, preparation of briefing documentation, research and similar related tasks.


This position is a 12-month full-time contract position starting January 2025. All applicants must currently be undertaking a University Bachelor's degree.


Key Responsibilities:


Network Development Support

  • Assistance with supporting the legal team and network development with reporting requirements.
  • Administration of Franchising Code of Conduct documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Contract management ensuring all Dealer Agreements and ancillary documents are loaded onto ECMS. Support with the review and update of new Dealer Agreement Code requirements.
  • Skill set permitting, scope online Dealer Agreement process (i.e. Automation of DA).


Administrative support (including Legal Operations capability)

  • Research on a number of topics such as privacy law, consumer law, unfair practices etc, general legal research and memo preparation.
  • Administrative support and consideration of automation type projects.
  • Support completing regional legal reporting.
  • Where required, support the Consumer Advocate with consumer complaints.


Contract Administrative Support

  • Ensure Stellantis Australia compliance with the Enterprise Contract Management System (“ECMS”).
  • Assist in obtaining internal sign off and recording in ECMS processes.
  • Updating Stellantis Australia Legal Teams contract database
  • Supporting the business update and complete simple contractual requirements such NDA’s and short form Service Agreements.


Requirements:


Scope of role

  • Provide legal administrative support to the Legal team across all Stellantis Australia brands: Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Leapmotor, MOPAR and General Distributors.


Engagement with the business

  • Opportunity to work directly with all levels of the business, up to and including the executive and CEO.
  • Be a key legal team member on critical business projects.


Business areas

  • Cover key areas of the businesses including network development, customer experience, after sales, procurement, human resources and general corporate governance and commercial topics for each


Legal areas

  • Support a broad range of legal areas on a daily basis, including Stellantis Australia’s Dealer network and franchise law, consumerprotection, competition, intellectual property, product liability, employment, OH&S, privacy and advertising and marketing.


Working environment

  • Be part of a team that fosters growth and has fun along the way.


Legal Operations

  • Where applicable, assist in the development of automated workflows.
