Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in lifecycle management and minor works to join our growing team. As a Project Manager at BGIS, you will lead and manage multiple projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and budgetary objectives. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead lifecycle and minor works projects from planning to completion, ensuring all objectives are met.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, budgets, and communication among stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, scopes of work, and progress reports.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
- Report on project status, milestones, and deliverables to senior management and clients.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience managing lifecycle and minor works projects in a facilities management or construction environment.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian building codes, standards, and legislation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Australian Citizen (required for potential work on other accounts).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or Construction.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
- Experience working with facility management platforms or software.
