The Impact You'll Have
At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
As we embark on an exciting new chapter of growth, we need you to join us as a Receptionist. In this role, you'll be the face of Workplace Injury Commission (WIC) at our Resolution Centre and will be the first point of contact for visitors attending the office including injured workers and parties attending conciliation and arbitration hearings in person.
With your friendly and bubbly personality you will handle all reception duties including meeting and greeting visitors, checking in participants, managing room booking and allocations and supporting setup of all conference/hearing & meeting rooms.
As the Receptionist, you will be in the office full time, Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5pm, ensuring coverage of Resolution Centre requirements.
Along with your skills and experience in customer service, you will bring your passion in helping people and strong communication skills to support the daily requirements of a Receptionist at WIC.
Who We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Lotus Notes mail and calendar applications
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to discretion and integrity; evidently trustworthy when in knowledge and possession of confidential and sensitive information and data
- Responsibility for providing exceptional service and help to resolve any issues and problems promptly
